Security & how to know it’s us
People pretend to be creative studios to get deposits and logins. Here’s exactly how we work, so you can spot a fake in five seconds.
How to tell it’s really Bog City Media
We will
- Email you from @bogcitymedia.com (or Kevin’s personal kpweldon1205@gmail.com)
- Message from @bogcitymedia on Instagram
- Call or text from 774.606.6669
- Send a written quote before any invoice
- Share files through private links
We will never
- Ask for payment by gift card, crypto, wire to a new account, or over DM
- Ask for your passwords or 2-factor codes
- Change our payment details by email without a phone call
- Pressure you to pay today to “hold a date” outside a signed agreement
Got a message that doesn’t match this? Don’t pay. Call 774.606.6669 or email kevin@bogcitymedia.com.
Your information
- What you send through our forms is used to reply about your project. That’s it.
- Form messages are delivered by email through FormSubmit to our inboxes. We never sell or rent your info.
- No ad trackers run on our forms.
- Ask any time and we’ll delete what we have on you.
Your footage & files
- Raw footage and deliverables move through private links.
- Unreleased work is never posted without your OK. Portfolio use is set in your agreement and you can opt out.
This website
- Served over HTTPS through Cloudflare.
- There is no client login on this site. If a page asks you to “sign in to see your files,” it isn’t us.
- Found a security problem? Email kevin@bogcitymedia.com and we’ll get back to you.
