A documentary for SMAC on the history of the Stoughton Train Depot. Kevin Weldon produced it, shot it and edited it himself, and it won Best Documentary Series at the Northeastern Film Festival.
The story came from the town itself. We worked with local politicians and the Stoughton Historical Society to piece together what the depot meant to Stoughton, and who could tell it on camera.

Most of the archive was scans of original prints. We worked with locals to colorize them, so a 100-year-old main street reads like it was shot yesterday.

We went on site to the historical places the story runs through, filming the evidence where it still stands: the depot, the tracks, the woods outside town.

No crew and no music budget. The whole score is free music from the Internet Archive. Ground interviews inside the depot, drone over the town as it is today, and an edit that ties a century together.

Tell us about it. We’ll call you, or you book a time.
